Directors
Mike Glasson
Mike is the driving force behind Lawn & Turf, bringing a wealth of experience in lawns, erosion control, and golf course greenkeeping. Mike holds a Trade Certificate in Golf Course Greenkeeping and is a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA). Drawing on more than a decade's worth of experience in the construction, irrigation, and greenkeeping of golf courses here in New Zealand and overseas, Mike drives Lawn & Turf forward through innovation and collaboration with the best in the industry.
Debbie Glasson
Debbie is the operational backbone of Lawn & Turf. With a Bachelor of Management Studies and 26 years of experience as a commercial property manager, she skillfully manages the office and administration team, making sure everything runs smoothly. Thanks to her background in property, Debbie not only keeps the business ticking over but also helps us work seamlessly with our commercial and civil customers.
Management Team
Dylan Wallace
With the Lawn & Turf team since 2015, Dylan oversees irrigation and construction. Dylan has a Certificate in Horticulture (Sports Turf), giving him the skills to expertly produce irrigation drawings, designs and quotes. Dylan also holds Standard Growsafe Certification which allows him to assist our Lawncare Team.
Josh Balme
Since 2017, Josh has been an essential part of the Lawn & Turf team. Working in the construction team as one of our key managers, he is multiskilled in machinery and equipment operation and hydroseeding. He holds a Standard Growsafe Certification and multiple heavy vehicle licenses.
Wayne Davies
Wayne has been with us since 2008 and is our longest-serving member of the team. A qualified mechanic with a Standard Growsafe Certification, Wayne brings considerable skills and experience to his role managing our fleet and staff.
Natasha Ward
Tash joined Lawn & Turf in 2016 and manages our Health & Safety and payroll, and plays a key role in the management team. With a Double Major in History and Classics from Canterbury University, she also brings over 11 years of national account management experience from FMCG roles in New Zealand, Sydney, and London.
Sheralee Hazard
Sheralee joined us in 2020 and manages the lawncare team, and has a key role in the management team. She holds qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Business Administration.
James Dale
Joining the Lawn & Turf team in 2015, James leads the hydoseeding teams and is part of the management team. He holds several certifications and his previous role as a drainlayer gives him expert knowledge in the field of hydroseeding.
Staff
Arthur Kruse
Arthur, our most experienced tractor driver, has been with Lawn & Turf since 2016 and is a vital part of the Construction team.
Harry Livingstone
As our construction team grew, we brought Harry on in 2023. Since then he has made contributions to the construction and irrigation side of the business.
John Cooper
With Lawn & Turf since 2021, John brings 25 years of experience in agricultural spraying to the team. John is part of the lawncare team and is also a Registered Chemical Applicator.
Richard Wright
Richard, who has been with us since 2017, is an essential part of the lawn care team and holds a Standard Growsafe Certification and an NZ Certificate in Level 3 Sports Turf Horticulture.
Benjamin North
Ben, a 2021 recruit, is part of the lawncare team and holds a Standard Growsafe Certification and a NZ Certificate in Level 3 Sports Turf Horticulture.
Oliver Chadwick
Oliver, or Ollie, joined Lawn & Turf in 2023 and has become an integral part of the construction team.
Tyson Mitchell
Tyson joined us in 2019 and is crucial to the hydroseeding, irrigation and construction team.
Jordan Wilson
Jordan, who joined us in 2023, is part of our construction team. Jordan also holds a Bachelor of Health-Sport and Human Performance.
Finlay Wheeler
Finlay joined Lawn & Turf in 2024 and has become a key part of the construction team.
Oliver Olsen
Oliver joined Lawn & Turf in 2024 and has become a vital part of the construction team.
