Installing Irrigation into an Existing Lawn at Roto O Rangi

While it’s ideal to install irrigation systems prior to laying a lawn, it is still possible to install an irrigation system into an established lawn. At Roto O Rangi, we installed a Rainbird automatic irrigation system into an existing lawn, which involved trenching for the irrigation pipes, as shown in the photos. After the system was installed, we compacted and prepared the trenches, then re-hydroseeded the area to match the existing lawn, ensuring a consistent and well-maintained appearance.
