Karapiro Lake Edge Stablization
Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Civil Construction, Builders/developers, Landscape Contractors
Waipa District Council contracted us to repair and stabilise the bank at Waipuke Park, which had been affected by wind and wave erosion, as well as fluctuating water levels from the Karapiro Dam. Silt fencing was installed to mitigate wave motion during repairs. We stabilised the area with Terralock bags and Anchor Loc matting, then backfilled and hydroseeded using a Rye Clover/Kikuyu blend. Additionally, sections were reinforced with Kikuyu instant roll-out turf to ensure long-term erosion control and durability.
