St Kilda Lawn Preparation and Hydroseeding

Most hydroseeding jobs will begin with removing grass and other vegetation using either a knapsack sprayer or quad bike. In the case of this St Kilda lawn, we used the quad bike to spray off the unwanted vegetation. We then used a bobcat and digger to move and roughly prepare the soil across the site. After levelling with a tractor, we installed an automatic irrigation system, a vital part of the ongoing health of the lawn. With the irrigation system in place, we completed the final lawn preparation and hydroseeded 2,200 m² with Spartacus Rye. The client also schedules one-off lawncare treatments throughout the year to keep up the lawn’s health and appearance.
